We're actually talking about two different devices. The Cruiser Mini does appear to work fine. However, the Titanium Cruiser, a different thumb drive, doesn't seem to work. I don't know why, they seem to be very similar, but perhaps the Titanium drive requires a different amount of power. It's too bad, I have a Titanium drive and love it, but now I also have this SD/USB combo, so I should be in business either way. BTW, all the above mentioned drives are manufactured by Sandisk.

My wife has a mini cruzer 1 gb drive. I remember testing it with the MPower. It worked fine. We got it at Walmart. I remember checking it because I had just gotten my MPower and wondered whether it would work. The MPower said hard disk when I plugged it in and I was able to do a directory and see what was on the drive. Don't know if this is different than the cruzer mini you are talking about, but hers works in my MPower. At 9/20/2005, you wrote: >Interesting that the mini-cruiser doesn't work either.
