Subject: [Braillenote] wireless cards supported by BN

Hi Everyone,
I called the computer store today to see if they had compact flash cards
or the PCMCIA cards. They do. One of the PCMCIA cards was for 1 gig
and the other was for 64 gig. The larger one was for $175 and the
smaller one was for for $44. I would order one from the States but with
shipping and then if it didn't work I'd be out money and time. I'd
rather spend the extra to buy it on Guam and try it out in the store to
know if it will work. Okay I looked in the user's guide and on
Humanware's Web site. I cannot find the info about the Ambicom wireless
card supported by the BN. I found the info about the Cisco card. I
typed in wireless cards on the Humanware site and got info about the
Smartview. How frustrating and annoying. Does anyone have thoughts as
to which card works better with the BN the Ambicom or the Cisco? Why?
Pros and cons would be appreciated. I looked into the possibiofy of a
microdrive. The computer store only had ones for USB ports. They were
going to need to special order the Cisco card. I told the person
helping me I'd call back with info about the Ambicom card. Whichever is
cheaper and works better. If the one is more expensive that works
better okay I can handle that.

Thank you for your time and your assistance.
Lisa
