Subject: [BrailleNote] Ethernet Cards

Jennifer,
This is Joseph. The only card that HumanWare
recommended is a network card produced by Socket
Communications, inc. which has a permanently attached
cable. The odel number is Socket Low Power Ehernet
(LPE) EA2902-137, CF+R/LPE. You can buy the CF card
itself, or you can buy the card plus CF to PC adapter
as well. BraileNote must be running KeySoft 4.x
(HumanWare recommends at least KeySoft 5.x or 6.x for
full networking support.), and you must have BN with
extra CF slot on the back. The connection speed is
around 10 MBPS. I hope this information may help you.
