Another possibility for a free Email account is a GMail account. You will
need sighted help to get through the visual verification, but once that
happens, the site is accessible with the BN and with JFW with a little
tweaking.
If you don't want to use the method they offer to subscribe, let me know
and
I could probably send you an invite. Either way, you'll need sighted help
the first time the account is opened.

It is true that yahoo acounts are free, but any new acounts created you
have
to pay if you want to be able to access your yahoo acount through a
client.
It is the same way with Hotmail. My hotmail acount was created before this
new policy, so I can still access it through Outlook Express.
