Can you tell me the URL for downloading my product key? The instructions, (if I'm reading correctly,) tell me:

but my Internet explorer browser says it can not find the page.

Hello Theresa,

You should ensure that your screen reading software is not looking for a
Braille display on that port as this will conflict with Activesync.

I would also check all the applications in the system tray to ensure that
none of them could be hogging the port.

Hello,
I am needing assistance connecting my BN to my PC using ActiveSync. I have
the ActiveSync 3.8 installed on my PC, connect via serial cable, Using
Windows XP.  I am receiving a error message that tells me that the port is
not available. It shows me that com port 2 is available, and I have gone
into  systems and comport 2 is enabled.  Any suggestions?
