Last week, I was offered and accepted a position with Verizon wireless. I start in mid October. I'm so excited. it's been a long dry spell for me, being unemployed for a year and a half after years of steady employment. Sigh. However, to keep this definitely on topic ... my rehab counselor got permission to exchange my current braille note for an mPower! we all figured it would come in very handy with all the six weeks of training to go through and then all the updates and things that will happen in the course of the job itself. So, sometime in October, I'll be saying goodbye to Ben, my old faithful friend, and saying hello to whoever my new mPower will be. I thought I'd better be back on the list to start soaking up info on the mPower. and when the time comes, I'll probably have oodles of questions about saving everything on my current BN and al that.
