Hi Mary Ellen,
I use grade two all the time when inputting my email on the M-power. There
are times if you wish to write down a link or web site, you will need to
change that to computer braille which is a simple operation to just type
backspace with G, then j which represents zero, you will get the
appropriate prompts, write the web site or link, then space, then type
backspace with G again, then b which stands for two for grade two. Nothing
to it. Otherwise, you can type most anything in grade two braille and it
comes out fine on anyone's PC.

Ok this Pam is what I really was aiming at. I was concerned that my
writing grade 2 Braille would come out on some sighted person's pc as a
bunch of gibberish.
That is why I wanted to change over to computer Braille so that Sighted
People could read my messages.
Ok thanks a whole lot for straightening me out about that.

I can read your messages on my computer also. So I don't understand
quite how this works. If you write a message in Grade 2, the MPower
translates them before sending them. So if you write in computer
braille, how does it keep from translating say exclamation marks as
the, etc.? Sorry if this was already discussed as I just got in on the
middle of this.
Pam
