I have used my Ambicom card in two different classics and an mPower transplant and all three recognized the card perfectly. Perhaps it was your particular card.

I disagree, Don because I ordered my ambicom card from Humanware and my
Classic doesn't even know its in the machine when I put it in.

HI Les,

Your card should work just fine.  I have used mine on the classic as well
as the MPower and the same goes for my wife.  I think the Ambicom cards
which don't
work are a much older version.  We got our wifi cards back in about
February of this year.
