Hi Pam

Thanks. Do you think it would also be a good idea to get the same brand of card reader? SanDisk card, Sandisk reader for the PC? Ah, you know, then they'd surely be compatible.

But thanks for the brand and size info. Hey, you said you leave your SD card plugged in all the time. I thought I had to pick something 512Mb or smaller? Is that restriction just for this upgrade? Do larger cards work for general storage?

Hi Jean,

Yes, you can get a 128 mb SD card if you want. That's what I used for my upgrade. Johnathan said a 64 mb card would work also but I decided to go for the 128 just in case future upgrades were larger than 64 mb. Others have said that sandisk and I believe Kingston are probably best to go with.

You might be surprised and decide to use your SD card for storage too. I leave my 1 gb SD card in the unit.

I sure hope the patch fixes your problem with saving. I'm wondering if the reset test that we did is a true indication of what happens, like maybe a true freeze also does something to erase portions of the file saved with the s chord which doesn't happen when the unit is reset?

Good luck.

Pam
