Hi Pam, firstly I should point out that it is possible to perform an upgrade of BrailleNote mPower without involving any other device. Using KeyWeb, you can download the upgrade straight onto an SD card, and then perform the appropriate reset to start the process. The reason why you can't just download the file onto the machine is that we burn a new ROM image when we do an upgrade. This means that the upgrades don't take up valuable flash disk space. However, it does mean that KeySoft can't be running when you do the upgrade.
