Hi Christopher,

Your first message did reach the list but apparently no one replied at least so
far, so I'll give it a shot.

You say you created an account with the wrong user name and can't get rid of
it. I assume you are talking about creating it when you tried to access the
network and that entry is on your braillenote.

If this is the case, do a 4 5 6 reset and this should clear out that failed
logon.

Next, connect to your network using the configuration you created under the
connectivity menu of the options.

Then go into the application you want to use to access data on your pc such as
keyword.

When you are there and asked for a folder name of the file to open, hit
backspace to get to a list of drives.

You should see a drive called network. Press enter on that.

You will be asked for a network place and press space to get a list of network
places. Space until you see browse and press enter.

You will then be asked for a network server name. Type in the name of your pc
to which you wish to connect. Remember that this name must be identical
to that obtained from system information or wherever on your pc. It is case
sensitive as well.

Enter this name on the bn and press enter. You will then be asked for a
network user name. Just press enter on this as it is almost never really
needed,
especially on a single-computer setup.

You will then be asked for a password. Leave this blank also and press enter
again.

You should then be asked if you want to update logon information. The default
is yes, but hit n for no and press enter. This will help to keep the entry
from
becoming permanent until you're sure it works.

Finally, press space with e to exit this and you should then be asked for a
folder name. Press space to see the list of available folders and you should
see
the one you set up as a shared folder on your pc.

Connecting to your pc isn't really that dificult, but it can be a bit tricky
until you have done it a few times.

Hope this helps,

Don
