I put the storage card on the laptop and happily I have not lost any information but Ipowered everything down and am letting the bn pk sit plugged in for about 3 or 4 hours and then I will retry the controls 34 and the keys 456 reset to initialize the memmory and if that doesn't work I'll call you folks at tech support in the morning. But my rot gut feeling about this is that we may have a bad charger because it was rare that the batter would go up to a hundred percent on this thing. So, stay tuned you folks in the technical department. and I was following the dirrections set forth in the getting started Braille Guide for those of you who claim we don't read the books.

Subject: [Braillenote] Uh Houston we have a serious problem:

Houston or humanware!
My pk has locked up to the point that absolutely no resets I mean not one will cause it to budge. Not only that, If I turn it off with the two control keys it tells me that the ac adapter is off now is that normal? My thinking is that the charger may not be working correctly because when it says ac adapter off it also says battery is critical but it should reset if plugged in, shouldn't it? But Nothing it won't even say main menu it just says Braille Note Pk. I fortunately was in the main menu when I pushed the 2 control keys to shut things down just to see if I could get it up and running again and that is when all of this happened. I did get it running for a minute and noticed to my horror it willl not even tell you if a storage card is in the cslot so what have I done here? I hope I didn't erase the storage card. I don't think I did because I had saved everything.
And I'm not sending this thing in until ferdinand gets back.
