They sure do. Mine's never given me any problems til now. I've only had to send it in for maintenance (display cleaning and battery replacement) and upgrades before, never a fault with it. Mine's, thus, lasted for four years without a hitch. I agree, the software is the bomb.

I shouldn't rub it in, but I've had my BN about a month over a year, and it's still working fine. I have to say, it did give me quite a scare once. It litterally came back from the dead. I was resetting, and it clunked and wouldn't work. I reset again and it went dead. It stayed that way for a few hours. Then, turned off, it started talking. In my opinion, I think the BN family has a pretty hardy software system.

Isn't this strange, all these Braille Note Classics going on the fritz all at once. I remember a year ago October the same thing happened and mine was one of the first ones to totally freeze. Anyway Just an observation and you can certainly delete if you don't care to read.
