Why are you downloading them on the keysoft system disk? Why not buy a flash card and download them there?

Subject: [Braillenote] complaint and two questions

Hi, folks: It's 12:30 a.m. in Pittsburgh, Pa., and I have a complaint and a question; maybe two questions. Now, I installed 6.11 a few weeks back. Aside from some little glitches with email, it seems to be working okay, even though I can't get it to recognize the wireless card I bought from HumanWare. However, that isn't my complaint. My complaint is this: There actually seems to be less available spaace on the KeySoft System disk than before. Why does this matter? Well, it matters because I download a lot of books, and larger ones, which never seemed to be a problem with 5.1, are sometimes not downloadable with 6.11. Now, I am aware that there's that little index file which is created in the Temp folder, where the books go. I read that in the Readme document. I also realize that there may be more files in the Windows folder. Still, downloading books is one of my favorite pass-times, and it's a bit harder to do. So, this leads me to my questions. Here they are: (1) When I look in the Temp folder, even when it says, "list of all, including hidden, files" nothing, except that little index file shows. Where does the book I've tried to download go? WHAT's been happening is that I get 98 percent downloaaded, and the BN locks up. I have to do a reset to get out of it. However, the book is somewhere, because, when I look in the directory for KeySoft, it shows a lot of bytes taken up. So, again, where does the book go, and can I get it out? Also, will the problem of this extraa file being created in Temp be addressed in 7.0? 6.11 is okay, though I notice that I have to do more resets than I previously had to do. Anyway, that's it for me. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
