Hi Thomas, the BrailleNote will play MP3 files of any size. The issue, I suspect, is the sampling rate. The file needs to be in samples that are a multiple of 11025. Some people use really funky sampling rates like 24 khz, that many sound cards don't support. In this case the files won't play.

I have several mp3 pod casts on a compact flash card but am unable to play them. The only mp3 I have been successful in playing is only about 2 kb. Another thought is there may be a difference in the compression rates. Any feedback would be appreciated.
