Hi Gabe

The port that is inbetween the Serial port on the PK and the Client USB port is an infared port. You can feel the two holes because in a infared port usually there is a cover of plastic over the two diodes. It would have been great if the infared port had been activated as well in the PK. Well we will just have to wait and see if HumanWare gives us access to the other hardware features of the PK.
Thanks
Mark

Can some one tell me what the two port are in the back between the serial
port and the USB port? And hopefully when the developers write recording
into the pk keysoft, the front unused button in the front will be sued as
our recording button.

Again, I agree. I find the PK to be very fast with transferring files and
books. I'm taking a course From the Iowa Dept. for the blind. I transferred all my lesson files into the PK, and now I don't have to switch from braille book to braille book. I love the compactness of it as well. I think that, if
I switched to something with a QWERTY keyboard, it wouldn't have the
compactness of the PK. However, I could very well be wrong about this.
Streaming would be nice, but it's not a huge concern with me for using the
PK. I do like being able to wag my MP3's around though. (grin) The recording
feature of the new unit appeals to me; I wouldn't mind if the PK had this
capability as well.
