Hello: I can't actually assist as I was not the user and it wasn't with a BrailleNote. I only post the information as a be ware as those were the complaints we received. Added to that these were in fact phone Headsets for use with a desktop phone although I have heard the same complaint about standard stereo ear phones as well.
