On a BN QT, you can press shif 2. But you need to put the proper
translation code before and after the text you want to translate into
computer braille. To do this, press shift control b c at the beginning of
the text and press shift control b 2 at the end of the text.

Terry, when you make the "at" sign on a typewriter or a computer
keyboard, you use Shift plus 2. In Braille, it's dot 4. On the
BrailleNote, you have to do Shift dot 4. Or, on a BrailleNote with a BT
keyboard, Space plus U, then dot 4.

The basic reason for the U-chord is that you cannot do a
shift-lowercase two to have it convert to an "at" sign. You
cannot add the dot six with it, because it would make it a number
eight.
