Hi Bonnie: When you get on the web site, you'll be asked to log in with the user name and password given you by NLS. To do this, when it says "log in", just go down with dot four chord until you see "real braille". Go down once more to the enter user name. Do that, go down with the four chord for the password. Then, go to the "search the online catalog" section. I generally put it in my favorite here, so let's just say that has been done. When you open the NLS site, you will be at the "search the online catalog section." Press dot 4 chord about nine times until you see "title". Press 4,6 chord to go past the example. You can enter a title. If you know the book number, press dots 4,6 chord until you see KeyWord. Write your number in lower case. Press dots 4,6 chord until you see "search". Press Enter. Press dot 4 chord until you see Http. Press Enter. If this is a site that you've saved to your favorite, at this point, you will log in. When you see "log in" the first time,! press d ot 4 chord until you see "real braille". Press dot 4 chord once more to enter your user name, which is linda-£02 and press dot 4 chord again to enter your password, lillylab. You'll hear beeps, and when you hear Http again, press S chord. Press backspace at the "folder name" prompt, and make sure you're in the "drive list" prompt. Press C for Compact Flash, or any drive you want the book to be in. Go to "Books," or whatever you've chosen as a folder name. Write the name in computer braille and add the brf extension. Press Enter. It should pause before saying "saved". If the book is in more than one volume, press B with Enter to go back a page. You'll be at the next volume location. Press dot 4 chord for the next Http. Save as before. If the book is in several volumes, you may be asked to log in once again.
