Yes, and if you don't have a card reader, you can still use ActiveSync with
the card in the back of your PK. I don't have a carder either.

When you get a CF card reader or something like a 10-in-one card reader, it
attaches to the USB port using either the 1.1 or 2.0 protocol so if your
computer is older you may want to see which you have. I just got a 1.1
version which will run slower but will run on all my computers. OK on the
one end is the little plug that goes into the USB port on your computer. ON
the other end is a box into which you put the different things to be read.
It only connects to the computer by USB port. It can read and write to
whatever media it has slots for on that other end box. For example, if your
digital camera puts your pictures on a MMC (multi media card) then you put
the MMC card into its slot on the box and it becomes a drive on your PC. If
you want to read from and write to your Compact Flash Card as you do for
your Braillenote PK, you would slide the CF card into its own slot on the
box and then it is recognized as a drive on your PC. I hope this helps you
understand. You can buy just about
any of the card readers you come across from the dedicated one that just
reads the CF card which is what I got at Staples because I didn't want to
wait for something ordered from the internet, to something with up to 30
different card slots for all kinds of differend media you'll probably never
come across or use. You should expect to pay from $10 to $30 for this card
reader.
