I know who's talking to me because I recognize the names, whether they be
real or online handles. I don't have a problem with signing my name to this
list, I have a problem with signing my name to other lists I infrequently
frequent. It's not something I consciously think about. So, I would
appreciate it if you stopped doing the following, in this order:
1) cluttering up a braille note list with a personal issue with one person
on oour opinions of email nettiquette;
2) attempted "playing ot the crowd" by actually threatening me and speaking
for the ajority of hte list in an attempt to involve them that's completely
out of line;
3) trying to dictate what I should do on a public email list when you, as
far as I am aware, have no relationship with the list staff;
4) insinuating that I'm afraid to sign my name because I'm blind.
thx :D :))

Hi Drew;
What I am about may be a little harsh, so please take it in stride. I
joind
the list about 3 years ago. I was a little shi so I did not write for a
while. I finally got the curage to write and now I write when ever I have
a
question or can help someone. I am proud to sign my name. Just because I
am blind, is no reason to hide my name. My name is a part of me. People,
when receiving e-mails, want to know who they are communicating with.
They
do not want to communicate with a brick wall. I looked at your most
recent
message and saw you had not put your name so I chose to write this note.
I
would think my question, yesterday, would have helped.
unsigned
How did you like getting an unsigned e-mail? How would you like it if all
your e-mails were unsigned? You would not know who was writing to you
accept by guessing from the e-mail address. If I want to address you, do
you think I am going to hunt for this e-mail every time. No way!
You can only suggest to man, man has to make the move.
If you do not grow up and act like a man and sign your name, people are
going to delete your e-mail, like me. I would not be surprised if many
follow in my foot steps.
We are here to help eachother not hide from eachother.
