This is Joseph. I would like to aplogize for the text of email that I have sent. Probably the seting in Yahoo might have changed. On to the message ... The BN's barrery lasts between a year to 2 years. The battery degrades over ages. You need to calibrate it once every two months or so. To recalibrate the battery (I'll use QT commands.): 1. Open Options menu with Fn+o and press Read with I to access Support Information mode. 2. Type C and D. If the numbers in the Capacity and Discharge count match, than it is safe. 3. To start it press R. BN will advise you that you should plug the AC adapter. If you did, then it will start it automatically. Note: the HW staff recommends that you store your BN in a quiet place during battery recalibration. 4. What happens is that it will dicsonnect itself from the power supply during discharging, and when it is finished, it'll reconnect the power supply and will resume the charging cycle. 5. When the discharging and charging cycle begins again (which is not most likely), press Reset+Record to perform the Service Reset. You have to reset the time and date and so on. The battery gauge should be updated. I hope this informqation may help you. Joseph Lee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Skype: joslee22590 p.s.
