Hi Terry,
I like my braille display also.
Talk to you later.

If you have any problem with hearing, make sure you get a braille display.
I have some hearing loss and I love my braille display, whether it be with
the Bt or with Jaws.
Good luck in your choice. I, most likely am going to transplant to an m
power.

Hi list members,
I am considering buying either the PK or the empower.
My only hesitation is the speech.
I have a hearing problem and have trouble understanding Keysoft speech.

Hi Jonathan, I, too, have difficulty understanding the Braillenote speech
moreso that I expected to. There are letters like b and p that I hve to
hear several times to be certain of, and the final consonents would be
more easily distinguished for me if they were not so softly concluded. For

me the best speech thus far has been the external Doubletalk with flextalk

a close second once I set it up to my liking. What I find interesting is
that back when I was a rehab counselor, my deaf/blind clients who were
able to use synthetic speech at all preferred the Keynote Gold External.
Memory fails me, but I don't believe my Voicenote has that same voice, or
does it. In any case, I don't understand it rather often. If not for that
nice word spelling feature I'd be lost.
