Okay,
You can do this. I'm using a BN BT w/ 6.1 and an XP machine with Jaws so
my instructions will be for that Machine. You also need your user name
and log on pass word, as well as your server name. Your server name is
found under settings control panel, system and then shift tab to
computer name and use Jaws cursor to read the needed info.
Now that you have all your info, do the following:
1. Select network from the drive list
2. At network place, hit space twice
3. Press enter on browse entire network
4. At the network server prompt, type in the name, make sure its spelled
correctly.
5. If your computer asks you to log in, here is where you type in the
name and pass word. Don't forget to use compute r Braille
6. Press space with e and it will ask to save password or user name.
8. Then you will be asked to update the log in info.
If yes, then you'll get a warning about saving it , but if you say yes
then you won't need to log in again. I said yes because I['m connecting
to my personal PC.
9. Now you can type in the name of the network folder, or hit space to
search for it. On mine, I see something like shared documents.
11. You'll hear network place and then the folder name. Either type
another folder name, or hit enter. Now your in the same folder structure
as normal.
12. Now you can access it now that you have everything set up.

Hope this helps.

Make sure your wireless card is in and wireless is on.

Subject: [Braillenote] Braillenote and networking

Hi folks,
I'm new on the list, though I've had my bn for a long time.
I'm just beginning to use the BrailleNote wirelessly.
I have a wireless home network. What I'd like to do is create files
on my
BN, then save them to another machine, the only other machine, on
the
network. Then, of course, edit them with the other computer. Now, I
understand that I must save in word format ETC.
What I'd like to know is how to configure things so that the BN will
see the
disk on the other machine so I can save to it.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks!
    Rusty
