That so, huh? I got my 512 thumb for $40. The compact flash cards for the same price were higher, plus I was going to buy a flash card reader so that I could put hte data onto the card right from teh computer as opposed to syncing up and then moving it to the flash card, which would have been anotehr $50 or so. I didn't see any SD cards because the only thing I have tha supports them is the Braille Note. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Henrichsen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

A 1 gb thumb drive is about the same price, perhaps a bit higher than the same thing as an sd card or flash card. I have a 1gb sandisk that cost me 83 dollars. I can get a similarly sized sd card or flash card for around 70 dollars.

Everything except he mPower? The mPower has compact flash too. Though personally I think that using a thumb drive is easier and cheaper than either of the cards.

Phoenix,
List,
when you go to purchase a coard for your braillenote, any model, if it's a
"compact flash" card, you don't need to worry. If it doesn't say compact
flash, then it's probably not for you.
now SD cards or secured data cards are different. I can't coooment on
those since I've not seen one. but for everything except the Mpower
compact flash is what you want, I believe!
Isaac
