Mike.
I'm not going to clog the list up with a detailed account of my experience
however all I would say is that I get fed up of people banging on about
negative experiences.
My interaction with both the UK company and other Humanware outlets has
always been of the highest order.
I sometimes cannot help feeling that some people use this list incorrectly.
Surely if you have a problem with a company you sort it directly with them
and not expose your dirty washing to all!

So in conclusion I feel the Humanware group are in my experience a great
company to work with who genuinely care about there products and the people
they serve!

That's it!

Subject: [Braillenote] experience with pulsedata humanware

Hi all. Too often, people only write about negative experiences. The
positive experiences are not mentioned enough, so I decided to write the
experience I had with pulsedata humanware with regard to upgrading my
voicenote qt. I finally decided it was time to purchase the new motherboard
and software upgrade. Admitedly, I was probably the only user left who still
had an old unit. In the process, I also decided to replace the battery, and
purchase the newer keyboard. After figuring out the costs, I was offered a
brand new voicenote complete with a new waranty at a good discount in
exchange for my old unit. I received the new unit today, and it's working
great. I haven't gotten in to the wireless world yet, since I don't travel
much, but I really like the media player. My experience was very positive. I
do have one concern I would like to mention. Will this board be used for a
while yet? I know when I purchased my original voicenote, the hardware was
upgraded in less then a year afterwords. Granted, I know I'm probably one of
the last users to upgrade, and I know the current hardware has been used for
about 2 years now I think, but the cost of those kind of upgrades is not
something that everyone can afford every year or so. I realize that
technology changes, and this type of hardware is no different then a desktop
pc in that it gets better, however usually it's quite affordable to upgrade
a pc since you can simply upgrade one part at a time. Just thought I would
mention this. Again, a very positive experience for me.
