Is there a way to hook up a braille keyboard to a laptop via bluetooth, like
you can with cell phones? If not, someone shold invent it. That'd be
awesome. Ditto a computer and a braille keyboard, although I know the mPower
can do this now, the classics still can't, i guess.

Unfortunately, some people cannot use laptops because of hand
restrictions.
I had one, and was forced to use a full-size keyboard. That quickly
stopped
it being portable. However, the BrailleNote MPower is slowly but surely
replacing many of the features of a laptop, which heartens me no end.

As I have said in the past, if the Braillenote is the only computing
device at your disposal, I can kind of see your point, but I am probably
safe in saying that most of the people in this group have access to at
least one other computer so they aren't really doing without anything.
I never expected my Braillenote to do everything that a PC does, and I
still don't. If I could only afford one computer, and had no access to
any other, i. e. because I wasn't employed, etc., and I had diverse
needs that required a high level of computing power, and I either had
space constraints, or traveled a great deal, I would probably go for a
compact laptop PC. Personally, I have a PC at home, and at work, so my
expectations for a portable computing device are more than met by the
Braillenote as it is.
