Hi Arthur, I would say that the strength of the Fm radio is not perhaps as good as a typical Walkman, although this may vary depending on the type of headphones you use as the headphone cable acts as an antenna.
Yes you're right, the radio is in stereo and you can record from it in stereo. I believe we know about the z5 and z8 extensions for interactive fiction.
