Well, let's hope so, Jonathan. <grin> With all the reported battery
problems, I hope I don't get a machine that has them. <grin> But it's
comforting to know Humanware is working to resolve this, and let's hope
it's resolved before the building starts.

Peggy, what happens is that essentially HumanWare in the US will build you
an mPower using parts that are supplied from New Zealand, plus your Braille
display. And it just goes to show, 13 can be lucky eh?

Hi, all. I called Humanware today to see where I was on the list, and I'm
number 13. The lady who answered said they would probably start the
transplants in mid-October, once they got the parts needed to begin the
process. I'm unclear what parts that might involve, as we're supplying the
Braille display and they're supplying the mPower. But perhaps it's like
the BrailleNote when it first came out, and they have to wait for more
mPowers to come from New Zealand, I dunno. But that's what I was told this
morning.
