Pam,

Perhaps someone who is more familiar and knowledgeable with the various makes and models of these drives can help you much better than I can. Some drives are probably made by Sandisk where others are not. I suppose if you get a drive which has a CD with it, take it back (grin smile)! Mine had software on it but no CD with it. Just a thought for what it is worth!
