Hi Sarai, Yes, I reset with the card still in the unit. Then the info shows.

Rose Mary,
Do you reset with the card still in the unit?

Hi, Sometimes I copy my stuff onto flash cards, and while it shows up on
my
pc, it doesn't immediately show up on my BNPK, so I do a reset with C3
and
C4 held down, and there it is. I don't know why this happens, but
that's my
fix.
I often save my documents in rtf, because it seems to be the easiest way
to
transfer files for me, but there are people who are a lot more technical

than I am on this list, and they can also advise you.

One of my teachers sent me this please help thanks.
I need guidance from BrailleNote users! Your assistance would be
appreciated. Thought this was up and running, but have recently run
into some snags and
I'm not sure why it is not working. There must be some small little
detail
that I am overlooking.
Teachers are preparing Word documents, saving them to a memory card,
then
the student is opening them or copying the files to his own folders in
his
BrailleNote. We have, also, been scanning using OCR software, saving
such
as Word documents. However, we have recently discovered that the file
may
be on the memory card as evidenced by what is showing on the computer,
but
when we go to find the file on the compact flash memory card in the
Compact
Flash drive, it does not appear to be there. I've brailled in none
for
the
route directory if it doesn't come up and have toggled around the
files
with
x plus chord (space) to see if I can locate the specified file in one
of
those.
Should we be saving documents as something different in the "Save as
Type?"
Thanks to anyone who can assist.
