I can help with a few of these. Note the answers are only my opinion and what I would look for.

If this message puts me on moderator status I understand. I feel that I need to make a decision whether I want the Braillenote MPOWER or the Braille Sense. I plan to see if an email list for Braille Sense users is available and subscribe. The info I learned about the Braille Sense came from GW Micro's Web site. I hope these questions make sense. 1. The Web site mentioned the Megahurtz for the Braille Sense. I am not technically savvy with these terms what are the megahurtz for the BN and how is this important when considering a product? Like the higher the number is that better and why or why not? I think the empower is 400, but I am guessing here from what I read from a previous post. The faster the MHz processor the quicker applications and processes will respond. 2. Is there a difference between wireless and bluetooth? If so what is the difference? The Web site said the Braille Sense doesn't have bluetooth capability. Does the MPOWER have this capability? Bt is for phones and things and has a shorter range wile wireless connectivity is for normal wifi. 4. How much RAM does the MPOWER have? Is RAM like the memory amount a unit has? I am not sure how much it is, but if memory serves 128 then you can add cards for storage. I am not sure how much memory it is using for running its applications. 5. To have my unit transpanted to the MPOWER (my unit is BT 18 cells) how much does that cost? 6. If I didn't have my unit transplanted and I purchased the MPOWER 18 cells BT unit how much would that be? My intent is not to give up my present BN. My theory is if my MPOWER or Braille Sense whatever I decide on needed to go in for repair I'd still have a notetaker to use. One major concern I would have is how well the Keyword files would transfer to the Braille sense and how well files created on the Braille Sense would transfer to the BN. A lot of the terminology confuses me. I looked at the comparison chart on GW Micro's Web site which was helpful but confused me. Any assistance anyone can provide would be helpful. I'm going to speak with the people again GW Micro and ask lots of questions.
