Karen, how many adapters do you have? I have one for my wireless
card, where I keep the card all the time, and then an extra adapter
that I use for interchanging all my other compact flash cards. It
mostly holds my GPS card, but I switch it out for the card on which I
record my voice lessons and choir rehearsals.

Thanks, everyone, for the advice. I was pretty sure that would be
the consensus. I keep the cards in adapters, but the cases are also an option.
As to your idea, Mary Ellen, I have an Id Mate bar code
reader. That is also an interesting thought.

If you can afford it buy one of the new bar code identifiers. Then
you simply tell the bar code what the flash card is. That is how I
have my flash cards labeled and there has been no problems. Also
the NFB has some sort of sheetswhich you can braille on and so you
can cut them to size and that should work.

Subject: [Braillenote] flash card labels
Hi, everyone,
My husband and I are accumulating a lot of data on compact flash
cards these days and it is becoming more and more difficult to
identify the cards and keep them organized. We have considered
placing small identification labels on the cards themselves. Is
there significant risk in sticking Braille labels to the top
surface of flash cards, provided one uses a good quality Dymo tape
or something like it? I certainly wouldn't want a label to peel
off into the card slot of my BrailleNote. Could this become a
problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
