Hi, my friend isn't that great at Braille at the moment but she is learning
quick so she's not sure at the cost of things at the moment if she won't be
able to use them fully. But when I got my Braille note she fell in love with
it and she is currently using the voice note. We were hoping we could find a
Braille note QT second hand that she could get in Australia but we haven't
had any luck so far. So when I saw some coming up on a few lists with the BT
keyboard I asked her if she would be interested in them and that is when she
told me that she hopes to buy a PK when she has learnt more Braille and has
saved enough money. I know that there isn't to many second hand Pk's coming
up or I may have grabbed one of them instead of the Braille note, but I
think my friend will buy the PK new when she has the skills and money.

Thanks,

Hello sharon,
Yes, the PK has 18 cells and it's small enough to fit in a woman's purse.
It is very fast as well. the keys are smaller though and it will take some
getting used to.
Frankly, if she is going to get a braillenote, why not just get the PK now
instead of later? Otherwise I'd go with the 32 because the cost
differential would be just about right fpr the PK. I doubt that there're
many secondhand PK's up for sale though.
Good luck to your friend!
Isaac
