Hi, If this is off Topic, I apologize.
I have a question.
The "daisy" reader you refer to, is that a machine, or is it a software
package, on your PC?
I really don't want to be tied down to my PC to read, but I don't want
another piece of equipment to carry around.. And... I would like to have
the flexibility to take a "daisy" Book, with me.

Hi.
I most definitely love my notetaker, and now that i use it and my daisy
reader for everything, I hate hard copy.

Sandi,
You have to do what's best for you. At first when I was learning the BN,
I used hard copies for speeches, but when I was comfortable with my BN,
I'd use the display. I ultimately found the BN easier because you didn't
have to stop and flip pages. There also wasn't a risk of dropping the
pages and loosing the order. Its up to you though.

Subject: [Braillenote] Braillenote or hard copy
Good morning all,
Tomorrow I am presenting at our semi-annual inservice
day at work.
I spent the time making a hard copy of my speech. I
don't feel comfortable
using my braillenot for my speech. What I want to know
is what other people
do. It is an interactive speech and I will be doing
some starting and
stopping.
I did not write it myself. It is a scripted
presentation. ugh.
I am just curious what other people do.
I will use my hard copy tomorrow because that is what
I am the most
comfortable with this time.
Thanks
Sandi
