Ok but if I reset my MPower with the card left out, then I cannot use the
card. The only I can use my card is if I reset the MPower with the card in
the slot.

Hello again!

This is truly your call. Some have never experienced problems when
resetting the BN with CF card still in place. Consider yourself very
fortunate indeed! Others haven't been so fortunate! They lost practically
everything on their CF card when either resetting or possibly powering up
the BN. I usually leave my CF cards out unless it is a network card. The
M-power is too new to really know whether much of this has been fixed. I
wish you the best of course but I for one will remove CF cards with files
on them before resetting my unit.
