I use it mostly to sync my address and planner and it saved me last
September when all my planner and address info was lost off my computer. If
I am already hooked up I transfer files that way too but if not I use the
card reader on my computer.

Well, if he is like me, I don't "move" anything to or from the computer. You
put the card sd or cf in the braillenote use the files then take the card
out and put it in the computer or card reader. You don't have to move
anything you simply use the file.

Using ActiveSync, you can move multiple files. If you
want to move
numerous files that are all in the same folder, but not all
of them, and
they don't have similar names, you have to move one file at a
time to a
card. If a bunch of them are in a row, you can just move
them all at once.
You can also paste whole folders from the computer to the
BrailleNote using
active Sync. I often use ActiveSync to rearrange my
BrailleNote files
because I find it easier to move them on the computer using
cut and paste.
