David, you may even have to delete the keysoft.ksd file from your Dictionary Folder on the Flash Drive. When you get to the Dictionary Folder, at the "list of files" prompt, press Space with X to see "all files". At the keysoft.ksd file, press C with Backspace. You'll be asked if you're sure you want to erase that file, and you'd say "yes". Do a plain reset right there without going to main menu. You'll be set back to the defaults, so you'd have to change them back the way you had them. Good luck.

Thank You Sarah,
Good Suggestion. I'll give that a shot and let you know what
happens. That combined with what Don and Karen suggest should do the trick. David

I originally had trouble dialing into my Earthlink account with
my mPower. I deleted the file called "connection configurations.cdb", located in the Keylist folder. Then I let the mPower re-create the file, put in the Earthlink info, and I was good to go. I didn't have to re-create my Email account info.

I hope this helps.

Hello Don,
Thanks for the suggestions. I did try different access numbers
with no luck. The pk works fine with the same numbers, but the m-power simply connects and then eventually disconnects without logging on. I have also tried using other phone lines from different locations. This does not seem to make a difference. Thanks though. I know from previous posts that you are quite knowledgable in this area. David

Hi David,

Sounds like you are successfully logging onto earthlink if you
can get email at all. This might suggest that you have a poor telephone connection. Is there a
different access number you could try?

Also, do you have any significant noise on your phone line during
regular phone usage? This could also cause a problem in maintaining a solid dialup
connection.

If you can, you might try attempting to dial in using a different
phone line. Maybe you could try it from a friend's house for example.

Don
