Hi. I also am glad they kept the modem in the mpower. When my wife and I go to visit her mother, she has no computer nor internet. She lives in the mountains so my cell phone doesn't work. All I can do is to connect to her phone line and put in the local number for SBC. For those of you thinking that dsl is too expensive, you might check to make sure. SBC is offering it for new users for $1495 per month.
