Thanks for your both suggestions which in fact I performed them both prior
to consulting the list but with no help. When also I installed the manual
programme, it asked me at the end to press reset with no keys held down. I
hope some technician from pulsedata replies to this message so we can find a
relevant solution to this annoying problem. Don't know if the files should
be recopied again to the manual folder located in the KeySoft System Disk so
the problem is solved.

Do a re set by putting a sharp object in the left side of the unit in the
little hole until you hear a beep and then see if that works. If not then
do
the same thing while holding down the f d and s keys at the same time as
holding the object in the hole until you hear the little beep and then
chime.

Good evening for you all listers from Lebanon!
I own a VoiceNote QT purchased from PulseData's UK representative baring
the
serial
number 16171 if that makes any importance to you. I'm using Keysoft CE
version 5.1 build 19 on it. When I first downloaded and installed the
programme, I was able to access and read the manual via either the book
reader by pressing function key with B from anywhere in KeySoft or by
pressing B from the main menu, or the table of contents and index files by
pressing function key
with O then U from anywhere in KeySoft. Two weeks ago, I needed to review
some parts of its manual,
I pressed function key with O then U KeySoft says press T for table of
contents or I for index. If I press T KeySoft beeps and says cannot find
the
table of contents file, same phrase and behavior occur if I press I for
index. If I access the book reader to read the manual I couldn't find any
file in the manual folder located in the KeySoft system disk drive. There
is also
another folder called manual in the Flash Disk drive but this folder
contains only one file called vnq.exe. I'm really feeling that this
matter
is strange as I never tried to erase these files. I installed once more
the
KeySoft CE version 5.1 build 19 but the problem still exists. From
humanware homepage, I downloaded and installed the Classic VNQT UK
Manuals.exe programme but got no difference although the installation
completed successfully. Could anyone of you please listers tell me how to
solve this problem and restore the files to my machine?
