..It would take a long time tjo explain. The encoder itself is open source,
that is, able to run on any type of computer platform, if someone complies
it to run on that platform. So you need to find a piece of software that has
that encoder packaged with it. Somewhere there's a program that's
specifically intended to save MP3 files at different bitrates that's jsut
the encoder with a dialogue box, and that's called a front-end. Or you can
jsut grabb Goldwave at http://www.goldwave.com and get the encoder from
there, as it's rather small and is free for thirty days. Hope this helps, I

editor such as Sound Forge. There are a number of these types of

out there so I would recommend that you do a search on the net for sound
editing programs. You need to be able to save the files to which you
