Terry,

I'm not Kate but thought I'd mention that there is Number 17 which lists
all the commands. Once you get used to looking it up, you'll begin to
learn where to find a command, or you'll just learn the command anyway.
If you think you know a command, you can always check it out using the
Keyboard HELP.

I found it very useful to read all through the manual at the beginning
so I'd know what was there. Now I have a pretty good idea where to find
most things.

Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Kate;
Welcome! My name is Terry Powers from MD. I have a kind of big request
that would help all. Add to the handbook and manual, an alphabetical
listing of commands so it will be easier to find a command. I went
through chapter 15 at least 5 times and could not find anything on the
book reader. How am I going to find the find command, the page command,
the page command the navigation commands if there is nothing on the book
reader. If those items were also in alphabetical order, I could go
right to F for find. I could go right to d for all the delete commands.
It sure would be a blessing.
You have the command list. would you not just have to sourt it and
emboss it? Thank you.

Terry Powers

HI EVERYONE!

'Just a quick message to introduce myself. I replaced Maryanne Cathro
as
the new Technical Author at HumanWare (Christchurch, New Zealand) and
started just 2 weeks ago!

I've been following the 'Major manual issues!' thread (begun by Sarai
last
week) and have noted the errors and omissions you have all raised. I
will
endeavour to update manuals with your changes as new versions are
required.

Let me reassure you that I'm here to make the documentation more useable

for you and greatly appreciate your feedback (keep it going!). Please
feel free to continue to add messages to the list related to the
documentation. Please include "Kate" or "documentation" to the subject
line (this is sure to get my attention)! Your constructive criticisms,
puzzled remarks AND compliments are most welcome.

Kind regards
