Hmmm, that's interesting. So maybe it's just a KS6 thing. Did
your sister
run KS6 on her classic? I know with my friend Derek, the Dot 4's
just
started showing up a few weeks ago, and for me, they started as
soon as I
got KS6. Maybe it kicks in after awhile for some people or
something, for
some reason? I'm just fishing in the air here, but it's sure
weird.

Caitlin, my sister has an mPower. She used to use the classic,
and never
had those dot 4's. Now, on her mPower, she has them all the
time. I
don't think it's in how you're writing.

Hi All, I've noticed that, since I got KeySoft 6 on my BrailleNote BTClassic, alot of dot 4's have been showing up when i type. I know it's notbecause ofhow I'm typing because this never happened with the otherversions of KS Iran previously. My friend who has the same BrailleNote as I dohas the sameproblem. He explained to me that how a keyboard basically worksis--and I'mprobably getting this mixed up because I'm really not atechy--that it hascircuitry or microchips or something, and when you pres a button, thecircuit opens and closes briefly to process the keystroke. Isaid that itsounded like a hardware problem, then, and why would KS6 haveanything to dowith it, but he said something about how KS6's firmware may havechanged andmade the circuitry more sensitive or something. But anyway, iwas wonderingif any of you have noticed this same thing. Another thing I find with KS6 is that, when reading for longperiodswith speech, the BN sometimes doubles back, and mingles up textit read fouror five sentences before with the current text. This can go onfor a minute, less than a minute, for a few minutes or indefinitely. When Istop readingand start again, it's fine, and the text appears fine with thedisplay. Myfriend has also had this same problem. Have any of you noticedthis?Sorry if these things have already been discussed, but I'mcurious as towhether any others of you have noticed these occurrences. It'snot reallythat big a deal *find and replace has become a good friend ofmine inregards to the dot 4's), but I was just wondering about it.
Thanks, Caitlin
