Hold on (smile) The whole problem is that I can't figure out how to get on to bookshare with my BN. Every time I start to try to set up a connection, I get the message, on the Braille Note, "Access denied!" The reason I have been trying to use my computer with the serial port to do this is because I do have an internet account with EarthLink. I thought that if I download the book into my computer, I could then transfer it to the Braille Note. Is that a weird way to do it? I read all the other options that the BN instruction manual talks about, and I first thought it would be good to get a flash card, but then they explain that that isn't all that secure, and there can be dead zones like there are with cell phones, and if that is the case, I would probably have trouble with it at work and even here at the house. What do you think? I sure do wish I was a techie and could figure this out quickly like many of you seem to be, but unfortunately I'm not. Once I learn this I will be able to teach it to other friends, but right now this whole thing has me pretty baffled!
