Yes, that's right, both type I and type II cards work in the BN family.

The only weird thing about the 6GB model is that it's a microdrive,
meaning it's a tiny hard drive in Compact Flash clothing. (Smile)  So,
when saving a document for instance, it can take a while for the drive
to finish doing what it has to do.  Oh, and the BN doesn't read the
available space exactly right, but if one is paying attention, one can
calculate how much space is left.  One good website to get these drives
is:

www.compuplus.com

Mine also came with a PCMCIA adapter, so I can use it in my BN's side
slot or a laptop.

One other thing, this is a type II card.  The regular CF cards, the ones
with no moving parts, are type I.
