Hi Terry,
Thanks for the advice of learning one task at a time. That is a very good
idea, and I learn better that way also. The address book is a good place to
start, as I do have problems with that on my computer anyway.
Are you a braille reader? I lost my sight gradually and learned braille
about 12 years ago as I love to read. I read books on cassette, but I love
holding that book in my hand. I have not tried the electronic books as of
yet, but one day I will get around to it.

AllsoThankYou To Ronda!
Hi Marilee;
I have problems a lot like yours. I learn better, one on one. You might
want to take one subject, like the address book and read about it in the
hand book. I find it better to master one subject before tackling
another.
After learning how to navigate around the menues, my first subject was the
address book. I am losing my sight and want to convert to a totally
braille
system. I am slowly weaning off of jumbo print. that is why I am excited
about the recording feature of the m power. I am now tackling the book
reader. It sure feals good to finally be able to read when ever I want.
Good luck with your lurning.
Terry Powers

Hi Kristen,
I have the VoiceNote QT. I am one of those hopelessly untechnical people
who needs someone to hold their hand while teaching them how to use the
unit. I have this picture of me pushing the wrong key and a nuclear
explosion occuring. I wish I were not like that, but I am. I can't tell
you how many times I have called my husband at work and said "Honey, my
computer is...." and he asks what I did! When I say "nothing", he just
sighs and says wait till I get home and can look at it. I have baffled
him
many a time!
I am going to read through the manual and try to learn something from
that.
I think I am going to call Rhonda and ask her to give me an assignment and
see if I can do it. She is only a phone call or e-mail away, and has been
very supportive. Anyone else want to give me an assignment? Now, guys,
make it easy!
I think I am going to love my VoiceNote, too. It is the first such piece
of
equipment I have ever had, so I am a real baby at this. Maybe we can
learn
together, Kristen.

Hello Marilee and Everyone,
Marilee, I am still amazed by my voicenote!
I absolutely positively love it!
I tried the Braille an Speak, braille light, braillenote and finally
tried
the voicenote and found that it is perfect for me!
I never could use those crazy thumbkeys!
I was always and forever turning off the speech by accident when I used
the braillenote!
I think personally that the voicenote can do everything, except maybe
cook
a meal and tap dance!
Do you have the voicenote BT or the voicenote QT?
Don't hesitate to ask if you need help I will be happy to do what I can!
I hope to hear from all of you very soon!
May GOD Bestow His Blessings And His Peace Upon Each And Every Single One
Of You!
Sincerely, Kristen
