Hi, last time I tried to press S and suppress that command I lost half my
document. I was half way through working on a work book for a course I was
doing so instead of having to put up with that message every time I exited
the document I decided to try the suppress option but I lost everything from
the curser onwards. I needed to keep this document in word so I could email
it to my teacher whenever she asked for it. Luck for me I had a backup copy
on my home computer and I didn't lose any of my answers because I had the
curser after my work.

So my question is has this happened to anyone else or was it just bad luck
for me? I was running 6.11 on a voice note QT at the time.

I may be all wet about all of this, and probably don't have a
clue what I was trying to say. I know that when yu save anything
as another document type, and you want to exit your document, you
are always asked if you want to save as KeyWord. If you press S.
at that time, your document says, "suppress prompt", and it
doesn't come up again. Sorry, I was trying to help, not hinder.
It's one of these days when I probably should stay off the list.
My mind knows what it means, but my message isn't clear.
Apologies.
