Well I feel lost without my braille Note(s) I miss reading or at least being allowed to choose to read. I downloaded a book on to this computer in daisy foremat but the voice is so horrible and I can't slow it down and am having a very difficult time understanding the speech.

The hard part will be sending your bn in, being without it for six weeks or
more. When I upgraded to the new motherboard, it is sad, but I felt lost
without it.

No, you get the mPower hardware and your own Braille display.

Hi Myrna:
Do you know yet how much it will cost? I just had to save for months
to
get
my 6.1 upgrade... this stuff is so expensive. I wish I could get some

help
perchasing it so that I can stay on top of things. It does sound
wonderful
though.

Hi,

A am a very fortunate person because I work at the New York
Lighthouse where I have the opportunity to work with a variety of
Assistive Technology. At the Lighthouse, we have a store which is
now selling the mPower. So, since the store director is a friend, I
asked her if I could borrow the demo mPower unit over this past
weekend. So, I had all weekend to play. It really lives up to all
of the things that the Humanware folks have said about it. I put it
through it paces -- did some recordings, played an MP3 book while
looking at some documents, listend to ACB radio and some audio from
another site, Etc. I really didn't want to give it back today, but I

knew that I had to. I sure wish October were here so my the
Brailledisplay of my current BT32 could get transplanted right now.
If any of you are on the fence about transplanting your display and
upgrading, if you can afford the cost of it, in my opinion, it is
really worth it!

Myrna
