Actually that isn't a bad idea for any device including wireless network
cards.

Hi Dean,

Is there a list of USB Thumb drives, USB External Hard Drives and so
forth that work with the MPower? If so, is there a way we the users
could have a copy of that list? Could it be put on the Humanware web
site for everyone to check before buying a devise that may or may not
work? Just a thought. Thank you, Tiffany Manosh

Hi folks,

The drivers for USB drives that are in the ROM are Microsoft generic
drivers. I would need to investigate further to be more specific than
that. Most thumb drives will work but whether they work will depend on
their power requirements and whether they are compatible with the
Microsoft drivers that as I say, are in the image.

And. Which ones are these? Better question to the humanware folks is,
what drivers are included in windows ce for USB drives?

Hi Rusty.

Off hand, I would think that any thumb drive that doesn't require the
installation of a driver should work. Andy

Subject: [Braillenote] USB thumb drive support

Hi Humanware staff,
There's been a lot of talk about what thumb drives are supported by
MPower. Is there a standard to look for when considering usb drives for
use with the MPower? Is it possible that support for these devices could
be increased with future updates of the ks software?

Thanks!
Rusty
