Hi Marilee;
I lost most of my sight as a baby, from a blood clot. I started out on
large print, but in second grade changed over to braille. I delt with
talking books, tapes and readers, but I still love my braille. I was with
out a working taperecorder for the longest time. I got that solved and now
I have my BT. I can read by braille or speach. I still have to get good at
down loading books and navigating around the book. So far I only have 2
volumes to read, but it still is a big hurdle to overcome.

AllsoThankYou To Ronda!

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the advice of learning one task at a time. That is a very good
idea, and I learn better that way also. The address book is a good place to

start, as I do have problems with that on my computer anyway.

Are you a braille reader? I lost my sight gradually and learned braille
about 12 years ago as I love to read. I read books on cassette, but I love
holding that book in my hand. I have not tried the electronic books as of
yet, but one day I will get around to it.

Marilee
